(else fine)
You run a Greenwich Village bookshop, 1962. Rent's overdue and the street's struggling — but a sweet first edition just came through the door.
The goal
Build the best Collection of rare books — the ★ Finds (4–5★) — by the end. Pay your rent each season so you don't close, and keep the Street alive.
Your turn — 3 actions
Work the Door. Click a customer at the Door to flip them. Buyers (black) buy a book off your shelf for cash; Sellers (red) offer you a box of books to buy.
Keep the ★ Finds for your Collection — that's how you score. Sell the common books for cash to make rent.
Use a side action if it helps — Moonlight for a little cash, call a Loyal Regular for a sure favor, or Discard junk.
The catch
Each season the Street slides toward Dying unless the shops tend it (make rent, host events). If it hits Gone, the block collapses and the game ends — you bank the Collection you're holding. Miss rent and you take a Strike; three Strikes and you close (and score nothing).
